Fatally missing blocks is mods which are included on the server which you have not or mods which are a different version to the ones you are using.
What you need to do is find out what DW20 version the server(s) are on and match it.

i cant stand when i see people answering who never experienced the same situation and assume they do know the issue.
Manou_54 is probably highly and likely using FTB launcher to download the packages so telling him that mod versions conflict just a silly advice at the best.
Manou_54 your problem is causing because of your windows language is Non utf-8 or something.
try with an English Windows OS and you’ll be able to join it. I’ve wasted soooo many times on this. Just don’t wanna see people wasting any more time.
I had opened a thread in here somewhere i can’t really find it atm.
and i also tried changing system locale to english. still no luck. ftb launcher doesnt seem to like non-english OS’es

I know this post is rather dead, but I wanted to post that I had this same experience and discovered that it could potentially be due to a config mismatch between the client and the server. It seems to be only particular mods and if you disable an integral part of a mod. In my circumstance the culprit was actually OpenBlocks, I had tried to re-enable the gravestones on the server (after disabling them prior) and suddenly none of my players could connect, none of the posts I found suggested this as the problem, instead they said to just reset the pack.
So I figured for posterity’s sake, I’d come back through to these older posts that I tried to get help from with a quick Google search and post my findings about the «Fatally missing blocks and items» error. Sorry for any inconvenience!

I have the same issue which i had somehow fixed but my FTB crashed 2 days ago and now i have that same shity problem once again. In my case, AE2 state I am missing 16 block & items. However, i’m the server admin and i downloaded fresh copy of the server config & mod folder to replace my client folder and still, i’m having the same error.
Edit: I’ve finally managed to fix the damn problem as follow:
— Deleted the config & mod folder
— Downloaded the config & mod folder from the server.
— This time arround, when Filezilla asked to overwhrite some files, i did not do so.
— Managed to log in to the server.

Не могу зайти на сервер SkyBlock, пишет ошибку как в заголовке.
Кайф, 2 очень умных человека поставили мне дизлайки без причины. Люблю самое адекватное в Узбекистане сообщество iCraft!

Для этого есть тема «Багтрекер по всем игровым серверам», тогда на это обратит внимание администрация.

sagdullaevakmal, там не помощи просят, а носом тыкают в неисправности сервера. А эта тема называется ТЕХПОДДЕРЖКА, мне как раз-таки это и нужно.

I installed Blightfall and opened it but when I tried create a world and open it, Forge Mod Loader says «Forge Mod Loader detected missing blocks and items». When I tried to join another one’s game on LAN, it says «Fatally missing blocks and items». I checked my game, reinstalled Technic Launcher, reinstalled Blightfall, reinstalled Java (I have both of 7 and 8), I formatted my computer (Its OS is Windows 7 x64), I tried to copy mod folder from my friend’s computer, then I tried copy game folder but nothing changed. World can open without that «missing blocks and items» but they’re important items and blocks.
Pastebin refused it because it’s bigger than 500 kb.
By the way I’m sorry about my English

Hello there. I have been fighting this issue for a while now, but now im mad enough to make a forum post about this. After 2 weeks, i still cannot find any way to solve this issue.
I have updated windows, used DDU to delete my gpu driver, reinstalled my gpu driver, updated my bios, deleted then reinstalled every version and instance of minecraft, java and every launcher, Set the technic launcher to the newest version of java, oldest version of java. Tried running the program from an ssd, checked with another gpu, still nothing. I have sent the logs to the discord bot, but it found nothing out of the ordinary [ Im Matt Moody#0101 ]. I have no idea what is happening now.
I’m at a loss. I’ve been playing my modpack for a month now and after updating to 1.16.5, it fails to launch as it loads Minecraft assets. I managed to get it to launch once, but it was vanilla Minecraft.
RAM: 8gb
MC Version: 1.16.5
Forge: forge-1.16.5-36.1.0-installer
Pastebin won’t work (404 error) so here’s the error log:
TLDR; It is defaulting to a fresh install of forge with no mods even though I have done the exact same thing I did in the past.
