Будучи менеджером коммерческого отдела небольшой торговой компании, я выполнял задачу по отправке нескольких сотен писем постоянным и потенциальным клиентам. Базу формировали из открытых источников мы сами, предложение было реально интересным целевой аудитории. Возникла «неожиданная» проблема – часть писем стала возвращаться. Кроме того, начали приходить сообщения с указаниями кодов ошибки SMTP. Своего IT-специалиста в штате у нас не было, потому разобраться с проблемой я решил самостоятельно. О результатах этой работы, причинах возникновения таких ошибок и методах их решения расскажу в этой статье.

Как избежать ошибок при составлении и отправке писем

Причинами возникновения ошибок и, как следствие, неполучения сообщений могут служить разные факторы. Одни из них связаны с неправильным составлением исходящих писем самим пользователем, другие относятся к более глобальным программным настройкам со стороны получателя.

Самый простой способ это понять – отправить тестовое сообщение на свой ящик. Затем следует протестировать его отправку и получение, используя разные внешние почтовые сервисы: gmail, yandex, mail, rambler и другие. Если сообщение получено, следует ответить на него, проверив корректность исполнения команды «RE» вашим почтовым сервером и принятие ответа условным отправителем.

Довольно часто проблемы с попаданием писем в папку «Спам» или программной блокировкой на стороне получателя лежат в неверном оформлении ключевых полей. Особенно это касается массовых рассылок коммерческого характера. Для отправки большого количества однотипных сообщений как минимум потребуется выполнение следующих параметров настройки:

Некорректное использование бота для отправки писем может привести к блокировке отправителя и другим нежелательным последствиям. Даже если информация, которую вы отправляете потенциальным клиентам, реально интересна им, система спам-фильтрации может воспринять данную рассылку как вредоносную. Чтобы избежать этого, лучше всего воспользоваться услугами специализированных компаний.

Положительные и отрицательные сообщения SMTP-сервера

SMTP (Simple Mail Transfer Protocol) — это протокол, используемый большинством почтовых программ для отправки электронных сообщений в сети интернет. Некорректное взаимодействие между серверами, индивидуальные настройки на уровне программного обеспечения и многие другие причины приводят к появлению ошибок. В этом случае письма не доходят до получателей, возвращаются обратно или просто «пропадают». При возникновении таких ситуаций отправитель получает сообщение о наличии конкретной ошибки, отражающей SMTP-код последнего отклика сервера.

Hello i have just recently created my server and i have been doing fine until now. I was getting prepared to begin allowing users to enter the server, when i encountered this problem.

«You are not permitted to use, interact. «. It seems when i de op, i can not touch or do anything. (when i am op, i can) This is a problem. i would like to permit new user or just the guest group to follow their set permissions..Ideally i would like all groups to work right.

The code for the GroupManager config.yml file is:

I have set build to true, and gave the permission node to build and interact, yet in the game it seems these permissions are not working. However, i would like to add that the code must not be all wrong becuase the prefix ‘[guest]’ does appear in the game for the guest group.

This issue hits when trying to re-edit an article/template. First time you’re allowed in, if you try to then re-edit the same article/template you get the error. I have been able to re-create the issue consistently in Firefox and Chrome.

Steps to reproduce the issue

Edit an Article or template.
Save and exit
Try to edit the same article or template

Expected result

Should be able to edit the article / template without having to log out / log back in.

Actual result

Error «You are not permitted to use that link to directly access that page #x» in a pink dialogue at the top of the console

You have to then log out of the administrator module, log back in to be able to re-edit the article/template

System information (as much as possible)

Joomla 3.4.8 (also present in 3.4.5)
PHP 56 (also present in 55)
Apache 2.2.23

With regards to Browsers I am currently using: Chrome Version 48.0.2564.109 m and Firefox 44.0.2 however the issue has been present in prior browser versions.

This one has been a problem for some time now, but I held off reporting it as my hosts told me it was a known problem. However, having searched the Tracker today I could find no record of it so wanted to ensure it is being investigated (because it is very frustrating).you are not permitted to use как исправить. Thanks for the response. I have tried the Extensions > Manage > Database > Fix option but it has unfortunately not resolved the issue

I have the same issue on all my joomla installations. Joomla 3.4.8.
A workaround is to flag the checkbox and click the edit button.

Hi,
I frequently face this issue. but actually only in Google Chrome. So I don’t know what the rootcause is, but this is probably the reason why not everyone could replicate.

And indeed, as noted by Mapk26, my workaround is to check the checkbox of the article and click on the Edit button.
As an experienced administrator, you get to know this workaround, but many users would get stuck.

I recently faced same issue on 3.4.8. Updated to 3.5.1, couple of days ago and haven’t had same error message again. If it appears again, I’ll investigate further.

Still running 3.4.8 but this issue seems to have stabilized somewhat (at least for articles and modules which were the biggest problem). Still occasionally get it with Templates, but that is less of an issue. Will be updating to 3.5.1 soon, so hopefully that will finish it off.

I still have to test on Staging, but I promise : I have worked a lot in backend of 3.5.1 these last days, and I still get the issue regularly.
But a stated above, I think the issue only arises in Google Chrome.

Wanted to test a patch then changing my user lg settings in the backend and then I remembered having seen this issue.
Next time I will be more mindful

I have similar on modules/users, but it happens quite randomly, that very annoying. I guess it something with session expire and Chrome.
In the Modules I have fixed it by comment out next part in the controller 😄

From my experience, there is clearly a random dimension in that error message. It is not that you can follow precise step to reproduce.

Updating is not a problem. Same happens on clean install 3.5.1. Also problem occurs on clean 3.4.8 for me.

On item that was once opened URL looks like this:
administrator/index.php?option=com_content&view=articles
On item that was not opened before link looks correctly:
administrator/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&layout=edit&id=59

On first case variablest look like this (administrator\components\com_content\controller.php, function display):

There’s no proper ID in first case.

I also noted, that link on article list page is correct. It gets lost somewhere in process and redirects me without «&layout=edit&id=59».

NOW: What I noticed. Installing Cache Killer extension on Chrome solves the issue. If someone can please verify it, that would mean that Chromium cache engine is somehow failing. It would also explain different natures of people having problem with this issue.

I think it is a bit more complex than just Chromium cache.

When first checkEditId() fail (I believe it something with Session, that is first bug/feature) then Joomla redirect you back.
When you tries to open the same item again (article/module/plugin etc) then Chrome return you back, because Chrome have cached that redirect (that is second bug/feature). And you need to logout or clear the browser cache.

Edit process is 2 steps

Now please read the explanation of what is happening

in order to fix the repeated issue, you need to check the web server configuration, and make sure that it does not send any «default» HTTP headers to the browsers that will force or may/might allow browser caching of the 1st request

About making the process «fault tolerant», i have made a PR here:
#10753

there are other alternatives to my PR,
but i believe my PR is the one requiring less work, and should be B/C too

Found this solution on a blog somewhere..

Replace your direct link layout=edit

to task=setaddress.edit (what ever your subcontrollers name is)

so it will look like

I don’t get that error with Opera or Firefox. With IE 64-Bit 9.0 I had to keep clearing the cache of the browser before I could reedit an article or module.

Definitely related to browser cache my end.

Happy to be able to confirm that there appears to be a cause for this.

It would appear that ExpiresActive On is the cause for this error. both front end and backend.

Simply put # in front of each line that refers to ExpiresActive

Easiest way for me to clear the error is to empty the browser cache, although logging out and back in also clears it.

Unsure of the cause or a better solution at this time.

ERROR:You are not permitted to use that link to directly access that page

This was migrated from Joomla 1.5 to 2.5 using Jupgrade, and I’ve had problems ever since.

Now when I try to save or close from within Phoca Gallery, I get this error: You are not permitted to use that link to directly access that page

I updated my PhocaGallery to the latest version, updated Admin tools, used all the tools in Admin tools, reinstalled JOomla, and used Global Checkin several times, unlocking the Phoca Gallery category I’ve been trying to edit, to no avail.

A couple months ago I found this thread and added a post to the bottom, with the same info I’m sharing with you:

No one has responded. I’m not clear about what to do.

That’s strange. Try going to extensions >> extension manager >> database (tab) >> fix. Then check on all your permissions and make sure to save each time (even if you don’t change anything).

I’ve had that happen, but don’t have any explanation for it. It seems to go away.

I have seen some discussion that you can get that type of error when editing if you had trash items in your original 1.5 install when you migrated. It’s possible to get duplicate aliases that way.

However, I don’t really know. For me this has always been a transient thing, so I never really tracked it down.

I also have heard that this problem can happen if you’re logged into the front and back ends simultaneously, but I wasn’t.

In your experience, did this happen to you with sites that were migrated with JUpgrade? That seems to be a common denominator.

Just going from memory, but yes it seems it was mostly upgraded sites.

One time I did fix it when it was caused by a duplicate alias. Two articles in different categories with the same alias. It happened after I made copies of some articles to a new directory.

Technically should have been different because they were in different categories, but Joomla was confused anyway. I manually changed the alias and never had the problem again.

I wish I didn’t have to jump back into this thread.

I now cannot edit and save anything in my admin area, without getting the error in the title of this thread. I have resorted to
• opening an article, module or menu item,
• copying the info,
• creating a new article, module or menu item,
• pasting the info, making the changes,
• saving it and deleting the previous version.

What a drag. I know I’ve got bugs ever since using JUPgrade. I’m not blaming JUPgrade. I did not do all the needed prep for the upgrade, but I do know that there have been big problems.

I’ll let you know what happens.

I also finally thought of rebuilding all my menus which I did.

Now I can work in the admin area again without getting an error.

I see from the forum discussion that I am not the only one. I have tried all the things mentioned. I have been working on my site after returning to the basic options in Admin Tools and it has made no difference.

I wonder if I should try this patch, mentioned by Maguire on this forum :

The objective is to have more cleaner installation. Maybe you remove the j16_jupgrade_categories table that is used in content migration.
